Being you in 2016!

It's a NEW YEAR!

As the holidays come to an end and the year finishes I always have sentimental feeling. Many of us think about all of the things that have happened in the year and reflect on the good, the bad, and the in between. Events that we never thought could happen did and that leaves us feeling anxious about what the new year will bring. 2015 has been an amazing year but now it's time to make new memories and begin with a fresh start! Today, I'm sharing with you my personal goals for 2016!

My first goal for the year is to continue to stay fit and in shape. Last year my "resolution" was to incorporate exercise into my daily lifestyle. Prior to the year I had never made health and fitness a part of my life and I felt my body needed a change. I began the year with working out 4 times a week and each week I felt more pleased with how my body felt. I love how excersise can relieve stress and help you become more disciplened in life. This year I want to focus more on the things I'm eating and explore healthy yet delicious food options. My second goal is to make stress my friend. Over the years I've been notourious for stress taking over my life. This year I want to learn how to let stress be something positive rather than letting it take over my well-being. My last goal is to enjoy every single moment of life, to get closer to God and to let him be the writer of book everyday. I believe it is so important to have an open heart to new experiences and to live everyday as it would be your last. I want to live true to these words this year and see where He takes me! I can't wait for you to be a part of my journey! I pray blessings upon your life and wish you the best year yet!
