Pumpkin Vase

What you'll need:
A pumpkin
A knife
One tin can (I used an emptied can of corn)

Draw a circle on the top of the pumpkin, use your knife to cut into the pumpkin like you would if you were carving it. Take the mushy gushy stuff out (the insides).
Make sure the hole is big enough to fit the tin can. Paint your pumpkin any color you'd like! I painted mine gold very lightly so you could still see the orange! All you have left to do is find your flowers and put them in your pumpkin!

This vase would be perfect for your Thanksgiving centerpiece! Have fun! ❤️

Let's Go! #makeupmonday

After a long eventful weekend I always find that it hard for me to go back to my normal weekly routine.
Don't get me wrong I love what I do and enjoy the schedule that I have right now. Currently, I am in my last semester of college. It still amazes me how fast time has flown by. It seems like yesterday that I attended my first day of my freshman year of college. Since I've been in school I have not only learned so much about my profession but, about life in general. One thing that hasn't changed throughout the years is my love for makeup and fashion. Today I'm giving you some tips on how to look fabulous in the mornings with a small amount of time to get ready!
My first tip on saving time in the morning is to use only a few simple products. Foundation, one shadow, liner, mascara and bronzer! These products are really all you need to give your face a fresh look. The night before your busy morning apply moisturizer this will allow you to skip primer on your skin. Foundation should only take a couple of minutes to apply, make sure you blend your foundation very well. Use one eye shadow and save the false lashes for a more glam look. Don't stress about the perfect winged liner. If you're a liner girl try a mini wing and only line midway on your lid. Instead of using all of the contour shades to contour your face use one bronzer and apply a little bit more in areas that you would want to feature. You'll see, using these quick tips will help you save time in the morning but still allow you to look amazing!

Finally the end of the week has come and you're ready to start your eventful weekend!
This weekend will be a rainy rainy one for north Texas! Bummer :(
I love the rain days but when I have activities planned outdoors, it can really put a damp in my step ;)

For my friends who will be experiencing this rainy weekend I decided to bring some cheer by giving you some fun ideas that you can do indoors!

1. Catch up on some Netflix!
I love Netflix and find myself binge watching a bunch of TV series. My favorites are Scandal, PLL, and the Property Brothers. Search Netflix to find your favs :). You can also watch free tv shows from ABC on abc.com. I'm loving How To  Get Away With Murder and Nashville.
Have fun finding new shows! Make popcorn and invites your friends over!

2. Online shop! There are tons of online deals out right now. Tory Burch had a sale this week that had up to 70% off select items. Get ahead and start your Christmas shopping early!

3. DIY craft! I love crafting it's one of my favorite things to do! Check out Pinterest for some great craft ideas. I have one posted on my ig :) if you're not into crafting check out an easy recipe. yum!

4. Pumpkin Carving! The end of the month is fast approaching don't forget to get in the fall spirit and either paint or carve a pumpkin. This is my favorite fall activity!

5. Lastly, if your daring go outside! Play in the rain! Have fun but be careful with that lightning!

Rainy days/weekends can be fun! :) I hope you enjoyed these ideas and have a wonderful and safe weekend!

Makeup Monday

   MAKEUP MONDAY

Last week I received a comment on my ig page asking for making tips!
Thank you Alyssa for the comment!:)

I've decided from now on every Monday I will write about a helpful makeup tip that will help you look even more polished!

Here goes!

So my first tip that I want to talk about is how to make your skin look flawless! Your skin is the most important feature on your face. The first step to your makeup looking amazing is having a good skin care routine. Every morning (and night)  I wash my face with Philosophy's Purity Cleanser. I love this cleanser because it is super gentle on the skin, it never breaks me out, it doesn't have a strong smell and it removes all of the makeup off of my skin. After cleansing my skin, I use Arbonne's Calm Moisturizer. I love this moisturizer because it leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth. Having  soft and smooth skin really makes a huge difference when applying foundation.

*Before applying liquid foundation apply a primer to your skin. This will help the foundation stay on longer and provide a perfect smooth base for the foundation.
I highly recommend the makeup primer from Arbonne. Definitely a fav of mine!

Now its foundation time! I use the Arbonne Perfecting Liquid Foundation in she shade natural beige.
You can apply this foundation with your fingers but I would recommend using a beauty blender or any kind of foundation brush. (I use the Tarte foundation brush).

I hope you enjoyed this Makeup Monday Tip! If you have any suggestions please leave a comment on my blog or Instagram page!

Have fun! XOXO -Btbeaute

Fall hair❤️

Fall is here and I've finally changed my hair!

I love changing my hair at the start of  every season. I'm a little behind this year but I've finally found time to get my hair done!  My natural hair color is an ash brown and as a baby my hair looked like a dirty blonde. Last year, I went through a phase of wanting to be a "bold blonde" and I must say blondes have more fun! And every other hair color 😉
Last year's hair

This year I've decided to change it up again and go for a warm natural chocolatey brown color! I'm so loving it so much!!!
My hair stylist is the bomb btw!

This year's hair!

I love that my hair stylist gets exactly what I want everytime I see her!

4 quick tips to getting the color you want:

1. Find a hair stylist who totally gets your style. If you're on the hunt for a good stylist check out their looks before you pay them a visit. Check to see if they have a Facebook or Instagram page with photos of their work.

2. Be realistic! If you are a dark brunette and want to become a blonde in one hair appointment it may not look the way you want it too. Instead, ask for highlights to break up the brown and help you get ready for the full blonde look.

3. Picture perfect! Every appointment I go to I always show my stylist photos of the hair color I'm looking for! I never expect the color to look exactly the same but pretty similar. Sometimes describing what you want isn't enough so always show pictures to your stylist!

4. Make it last! To keep your hair color looking the best longer, do not wash your hair everyday! I know some of you may was your hair every day but if you just got a beautiful color done, I'd suggest washing it every other day! If you wash your hair everyday your hair color will fade so much faster and you might not  love the look so much over time.

Collab with Kathia Giselle

 KATHIA GISELLE

These days it's so hard to come by such real and genuine people that share the same passions in life that you do. I'm so thankful and blessed to know someone who is so extremely talented and real! Katia Giselle is a DFW professional makeup artist who attended and graduated from Make-Up-Designory (MUD) School in Los Angles California. Yesterday, I had the honor of collaborating with her and, I absolutely LOVED the way she did my makeup! She uses techniques that I have never seen before and her skills allow her to complement your natural features so that you look like the best version of yourself! I didn't want to take my makeup off because I've never so beaute (beautiful)! She's so amazing! Look how gorg my eyes look! See why I wanted to keep my makeup on?

My Top 3 Fave Makeup Brands

                                                              Cant Live Without

Tarte: Pucker up! I love Tarte  Cosmetics because all of their products are natural and feel so good on. My favorite product by far is the Amazonian clay foundation. This foundation is thick, creamy and provides full coverage. The foundation has SPF 15 so you won't have to worry about applying sunblock to your face. If you're interested in buying this foundation I would recommend purchasing it on the QVC website where it is same amount as the retail price but it includes the foundation brush. The foundation brush alone is $34. That's $73 value for $39. YAY!!! The link to this deal will be down below!

Anastasia Beverly Hills: Omg! I love this brand so much! From the eye shadow palette's to the contour kits I get so excited trying out new products from ABH. I am such a fan of how pigmented all of eyeshadows are! I have so many good things to say about this brand I could go on and on! My favorite product is the contour kit! It makes contouring easy and effortless! Try it you'll love it!

Elf: Every time I say the name it reminds me of Christmas! Elf is one of my favorite brands simply because it is so economical and their products are actually really good! Some makeup brands can be so expensive it takes the fun out of buying new products. Elf's liquid eyeliner and natural lashes are my fav! The liquid liner lasts me several months and has a deep black color which make the eyes pop. I recently tried the natural lash collection (false lashes) and fell in love with how well the lashes blend in with mine! Next time you're at Target check out this brand!

Wearing white after Labor Day!

I love wearing white all year round! Some people are afraid of wearing white after Labor Day because of the "rule". I say wearing white can definitely be done after LD! Layering is a must for fall and winter! If you wanna add a little bit of white to your fall wardrobe I suggest finding accesories like scarves and cardigans that have nude shades to help pull the white colors together! Winter white is totally in! Here I decided to go with a black and white scarf and a white long sleeve! Tip: add a pop of color like red, orange, or blue!

Being You

                                                                   Being You

Today is my very first  blog post! Welcome and thank you for stopping by, my name is Bianca better know as btbeaute! For as long as I can remember I've always been interested in all things beauty! I started wearing fake eyelashes at the age of 3 ( for dance recitals) and wore makeup on a daily basis at the age of 11. I loved makeup because if ever I was sad or in a funk it would lift my spirits, the same thing applied with fashion. I can instantly feel better just by wearing my favorite pair of heels or a t-shirt. Fashion and beauty doesn't have to be a correct formula it's what you make it. I want to show you how fun it is to find your own fashion and enjoy the little things in life because you're a beaute! A beauty and you deserve to be happy! Get inspired and enjoy your life! And always be you!
